To book a Fischy School Day please fill out our Event Enquiry Form and we will get back to you to confirm the cost and availability. We are taking bookings for next year from January to June 2025.
Please note most of our School Days are for schools within an hour's travel of Edinburgh, but we do travel further on occasion or when visiting a cluster of schools. Please email us if you are outside the Central Belt of Scotland and we will check the Events Team availability.
Included in a Fischy School Day:
- 3 x 45-minute song-teaching workshops in the morning, for up to 70 children in each group
- a 45min/one-hour concert for the whole school in the afternoon to which parents/carers can be invited
This format is flexible according to school size, with options available to visit for a half day for tiny schools, or 2-3 days for larger schools or a cluster of schools. The cost is dependent on the size of the project and the amount of staff time and travel involved. Workshops and the concert usually take place in your school hall, or other suitable space (full PA system provided).

Our event team members are highly trained and experienced, and will tailor the song choices and workshop style to your requirements where possible, for example as part of a school health and wellbeing week, Rights Respecting School Award event, school celebration or anti-bullying campaign. We are happy to work with all ages and needs - from nursery to P7, and in ASN settings.
All schools booking a school day will receive a discount off a Fischy Music Online subscription, so they can continue to enjoy all the wellbeing benefits of singing throughout the year.
