Wellbeing song packages for schools

Thursday, 06 January 2022

At the start of this new year, many school staff and children's workers are looking for resources to support children's wellbeing. In our rapidly changing world, children face more and more challenges to their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

As well as happy times, children often have to deal with grief, loss and big changes. Many experience bullying, low self-esteem and stress.

We believe in the transformative power of song in children’s lives to improve their health and wellbeing.

Teachers, families and those who work with children tell us frequently about how valuable our ‘real life’ songs are.

Songs like You are a Star and Stronger can help bring children hope, let them know they are not alone, and remind them of their innate value.

We would like to invite your school or church to join the Fischy Music Online community.

The children you work with can benefit from 125 Fischy Music songs and teaching resources via our song streaming platform.

Fischy Music Online:

  • Includes song videos, lesson plans, audio tracks and much more
  • Gives teachers and support staff access to songs and resources anytime
  • Covers a broad range of lessons and different occasions, eg assemblies, classrooms, relaxation/mindfulness and nurture groups
  • Is completely inclusive, with songs for 3 – 12 year olds (that adults enjoy too)
  • Enables children to understand their emotions and build resilience, exploring topics including friendship, transition, loss, and self-esteem
  • Links to Curriculum for Excellence and Seasons for Growth

Health & Wellbeing and RE & Collective Worship packages are available and prices start at £33 a year for a tiny school rate and increase depending on school size and type of package.

“With 125 songs to choose from, covering a huge range of subjects and musical genres, our Fischy Music package gives us fantastic value for money!”
Linda Bertolacci, Teacher and Health & Wellbeing Co-ordinator, St Philomena’s Primary, Glasgow
