Fischy Music: Overview and Impact

Fischy Music is a registered charity producing songs to nurture the mental Health & Wellbeing of hundreds of thousands of children. Over 800 primary schools and organisations use Fischy Music Online, our song streaming platform, to help children express and manage a range of emotions.

Songs like You are a Star and Stronger can help bring children hope, let them know they are not alone, and remind them of their innate value. As We Go Now has helped thousands of children, teachers and parents express and mark their transition from primary to high school.

Teachers, families and those who work with children tell us frequently about how valuable our ‘real life’ songs are. Young people and adults who grew up with Fischy Music songs have seen the long-term positive impact these songs have had in their lives:

"I remember always wanting to hear Fischy Music in assemblies: it makes you happy."

"Fischy Music songs gave me the confidence to be me."

"Fischy lasts in people's hearts and stays with them. So I think that these songs are a gift for life."

The Fischy musicians write songs and create live music experiences for children and families. We also produce resources and deliver training courses to enable teachers and children’s workers to use the transformative power of song.

Our songs are written with and for children to celebrate the good times and build resilience in the tough times of life.
