Events and projects

"You have helped us all to see, it's a possiblity" / You are an Inspiration / © Fischy Music 2011
Every year our team work face-to-face with thousands of children in schools and nurseries to nurture children's wellbeing and bring school communities together in song, through school days and song-writing projects.

Our events can range from a 45 minute workshop through to a 3-year project.

We primarily work with children aged 3-12 years and in a typical week this might involve a concert at a music festival, some schools days and a teacher training session.

We partner with schools and organisations including Fife Youth Music Initiative, Seasons for Growth (www.seasonsforgrowth.org.uk), NHS Forth Valley and St Columba’s Hospice. Find out more about some of our recent and current projects.

Fischy Music has years of experience providing musical input into an extremely wide range of concerts and musical gatherings.

These are some of the ways we can work with you:

  • concerts/festivals
  • training
  • conferences/speakers
  • Fischy School Days
  • online events for children/adults (for example song writing or teacher training)
  • song writing commissions
  • projects, for example Song Writing projects
  • partnerships, for example working with hospices and educational establishments

If you would like to find out more about the events we offer or enquire about the cost, please contact us, email: info@fischy.com.

“There are endless opportunities to draw on Fischy resources – the music is uplifting and at times just what is needed in terms of lifting morale. The song-writing group thoroughly enjoyed their sessions and it’s overwhelming to see the effort and emotion put into this.”

“I loved when they came to the classroom and sang with us and sang our jingles that we created. It made me feel passionate about music.”
