I live with husband Rob and sons Craig (13) and Grant (10) in windswept West Lothian, along with two mad cats, Charley and Henny, and a very patient guinea pig called Angus who ignores the cats when they want to play with him. When not Fischying, I like working with sign language and interpreting for deaf people. When not doing either of those, I like singing jazz. I suppose I've done both for about twenty years which actually means I’m ancient but very happy with it. I've been on the Fischy team about three years and love it.

What is the most embarrassing song in your CD or iPod collection?
The Flintstones theme tune- or is that actually cool?

Where do you like singing most?
In a really full church.

What is your idea of musical heaven?
Singing with a big jazz band.

What is your idea of musical hell?
Listening to someone sing/play who think they're chocolate (but are rubbish).

Which instrument do you wish you could play?
The harp.

Which instrument are you most glad that you don’t play?
Patagonian nose flute.

Favourite song from primary school?
An old hymn (‘Safe in the arms of Jesus’.

Last song you cried to?
My son's rendition of ‘Auld Lang Syne’ played on his tuba.

Last song you danced to?
You have got to be kidding – me dance??

Person you would most like to perform with?
Bing Crosby (sadly no longer with us).
